San Jose, CA - November 15, 2007 -

Athletic Nation Franchise Corp. announced today the hiring of former professional football player Tommy Jones as its new Director of Training.

 

Mr. Jones brings to the company a very diverse background that includes working in the real estate, retail and fitness industries.

 

According to Director of Development Manny Petersen, "When we began our recruitment for this very important position we had an overwhelming response of candidates. When the air cleared it was obvious Tommy was the right person for this position".

 

Tommy's role with the company will include leading new franchisee training and new program development such as strength training for high school boy athletes, a PGA certified training strength program for golfers, a geriatric strength program for senior males and also a "pet" project from Athletic Nation founder Dennis Mulgannon which is a quadriplegic strength training program. This will be provided free to men who have had their lives changed by a major injury or illness and are confined to a wheelchair.
