Athletic Nation- Men's Personal Training Gyms
launched its concept to Southern Californian's with grand style as the team of of three corporate staff and four franchise gym owners exhibited in front of over 10,000
prospects.
With over 150 other concepts the booth was never without plenty of prospects vying for the attention of the Athletic Nation staff.
Founder Dennis Mulgannon was busy all throughout the conference conducting interviews with the press.
Because of its direct approach and "in your face" marketing style, Athletic Nation created quite a stir at the conference.
To quote Roger Ortmayer, franchise owner of the Houston Texas gym points out, " The great thing about what we are doing is we don't have to apologize for being straightforward and honest in our approach. If men are not willing to deal with their health and fitness issues head on...we will".

"Would-be franchisers can help themselves and others -- but only with the right concept"
By Cyndia Zwahlen, Special to The Los Angeles Times October 18, 2007
Dennis Mulgannon is another franchiser pumped up for the three-day event, where at least 10,000 visitors are expected to check out 150 or so business concepts at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
He'll be talking up his back-to-basics Athletic Nation Men's Personal Training Gym concept, which grew from a book he wrote about his own weight-loss and fitness regimen. His target customers are men ages 30 to 60 who don't work out and won't go to a big-box gym.
"My client isn't going to roll around on a bouncy ball," said Mulgannon, president of the San Jose-based company. "You come into our gym -- it's serious time." |
